Treasures: Cemetery
This is an unpublished poem written by Maily Sequera, you can read more of her Everything is Violeta .
I first heard in the Second Reading Festival Chacao 2010. Cemetery
saw a dead man and a woman of translucent gown
poking his head and his underwear
then got fat at the window
naturalized death and dug a grave with two flashes good
were only ten seconds
between dark red dark blue police saw the head
blood and disaster shattered the glass
if it was a taxi driver 20 or 60, you'll see
the weapon fired, and know
if a wife and children, will
and then killed him and fled, then, no one knows
other passes and stares
almost flip a coin to the show and will continue
issue with the Sunday soup
family life goes
with true terror
but there the
and thank you, sir
oneself, God forbid that I
hours
bad mother crying on TV
holding a child while Aunt tells immutable
sparingly they killed him
another
shot by a bicycle
shoes fortnight dim
normal so the new rules
who told him to be alive who sends me
